MY STORY

I have been an animal lover all my life.  I grew up on a family farm where we had many animals including our beloved dogs! At age 11, I joined my local 4-H dog club where I enjoyed seven years of learning about dogs through training, showing, volunteer work, grooming, first aide and more.  During 4-H I worked with my Australian Shepherd and Corgi.  I have owned several mixed breeds and purebreds.  They each taught me new things about myself and what it is to be canine. 

 

In 2018, I decided to make a career change from the bookkeeping work I had done for nearly 20 years to venture into my lifelong passion of dog care.  I began by offering boarding and daycare in my home. We have 9 acres to roam and play plus our large farmhouse.  Then I began to get requests to offer dog training. 

 

In 2019, I began offering one on one obedience training and in 2020 I added group classes and behavior consultations. I have been able to add Agility For Fun, Puppy Class & an Outdoor class in 2022.  In 2025, I became an approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator through the AKC. I now offer CGC prep courses & testing.

 

Each group and individual client is teaching me new things. Your pet truly is my passion!
